If you are a mutant, I apologize for busting out the sesquipedalian nomenclature on yo behineys. Triska-whatever means the fear of the number 13...but you probably already knew that and think me didactic and sophomoric for showing off.
Therefor in plain language, Happy Friday the 13th. So far it's living up to its reputation. I idiotically decided to reinstall Windows at about midnight last night and it's caused a synchronistic (that is, events that appear to have no connection, yet do) blowback of gargantuan proportions.
In fact, it's been a rough month in general. I'm apt to take my axe to something in honor of the film series dedicated to today. I bought it last year and haven't been able to whack anything but bamboo roots. Anyone care to come over for tea?
Seriously, though, the events of the past I-can't-remeber-how-long have been very odd indeed. There seems to be some web of interconnected events that eludes my mundane perceptions. Maybe I should fear the number 13, although I have always liked this day for its odd appeal. I appreciate things that exist on the periphery and suggest the supernatural. But then maybe that's why my life has taken the turns it has.
Who knows. Enjoy the ride around the sun and surf the "luck plane".
